Lame Horse Instruments are produced by the father and son team of Chris and Jeremy Jenkins in their respective workshops: Chris works in Mansfield, Jeremy works in Austin. This arrangement seems to work well, for although they are separated by 200 miles of Texas, they collaborate daily, and ship parts and pieces back and forth between the workshops for each to work.
Jeremy enjoys playing the Austin music scene with various bands, and when not building instruments, spending time with his daughter, Sidney. Chris can be found most days in the workshop building instruments. He also enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife of 43 years, Robin.
We're proud to have such talented builders nearby where we can go directly to their workshop to hand-select woods for custom builds for us here at The Guitar Sanctuary.
