Thomas began his tenure at the Performance Academy as a student in 2011 studying under our instructors Pete Weise, Professor of Jazz Guitar at Collin College and a seasoned faculty member of the renowned National Guitar Workshop, and Scott Stine, Shrapnel Recording Artist and Ibanez Guitar Clinician. He graduated McKinney High and attended Collin College as a Music Major where he was bestowed the honor of being chosen to be a member of the All State Jazz Band. Thomas had been a member of our teaching staff as a guitar instructor since 2012.

Thomas works well with ages 14 and up offering guitar instruction from beginning guitar to advanced music theory in a variety of styles that include Pop, Country, and Jazz. He is well versed in improvisation and would be an excellent fit for students looking for assistance with auditions for High School and College Jazz Band.

Thomas currently performs with his instrumental band “Animal Situation” around the DFW metroplex.

Thomas offers guitar Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
