We were looking to add an additional guitar instructor in 2023 who could teach a wide variety of guitar styles to beginning, intermediate, and advanced students.

Shane Frame, who oversees our Performance Academy, was aware of Michael’s talents and abilities through the local music scene and started speaking with him about a teaching role at our facility. We knew he would be a great addition to our roster of instructors, and he joined our Performance Academy staff in January 2023.



Michael received formal guitar training from The University of North Texas’ Jazz Guitar program. He was accepted into top collegiate music programs and winning both regional and premier military band auditions. Michael has over 10 years of teaching experience.

Michael’s professional performance resume is impressive. It includes playing guitar for chart topping artist Pat Green, Neal McCoy, and Zane Williams.



Michael works well with students ages 8 and up. He customizes each lesson to suit the individual needs of student's personal musical goals. Michael specialty is helping students prepare for college and military band auditions.

Michael is currently available for lessons on Wednesdays.
