Introducing the new Mesa Boogie Head-Track Head + Effects Loop Switcher

The newest product in Mesa's Signal Management Line aimed at innovative solutions for amplifier switching, the all new Head-Track™ is a Head + Effects Loop Switcher that enables two amplifier Heads to be used with one set of Effects and Speaker Cabinet. You can expect the same high quality MESA® craftsmanship from these professional products as all those that Mesa builds in their one and only shop in Petaluma, California.

Users I/O Features:
  • LED A or B – Indicates which of the two amplifiers is selected/active
  • A/B Footswitch – Switches between Amp A or B and their FX Loops
  • REMOTE SWITCH Input – External “Tip-to-Ground” Switch
Instrument I/O Features:
  • GUITAR INPUT – Accepts signal from a guitar or pedal(s)
  • TO AMP A INPUT– Connects Guitar Input Signal to Amp A
  • TO AMP B INPUT – Connects Guitar Input Signal to Amp B
Effects Loop I/O Features:
  • FROM A SEND and TO A RTRN – Connects Amp A’s FX Loop Send & Return
  • FROM B SEND and TO B RTRN – Connects Amp B’s FX Loop Send & Return
  • TO FX IN and FROM FX OUT – Connects shared FX Loop based FX to the FX
  • Loop of whichever Amp is selected/active
Speaker Level I/O Features:
  • FROM A SPKR OUT – Connects the Speaker Output from Amp A
  • FROM B SPKR OUT – Connects the Speaker Output from Amp B
  • TO SPKR CAB/LOAD – Connects a shared speaker cabinet or load device to
  • the Speaker Output of whichever Amp is selected/active
  • 9-12VDC External Power Jack Input (power supply not included)

If you’re looking for a way to switch between amps without having to swap all the cables for the front of the amp and the effects loop this is it. Seamless switching, no pops or lag, and there is no more noise than without it. I have mine sitting on one of the amps and used Mogami cables, half of them I made myself so I was really surprised there was no extra noise. Now just waiting for Mesa to make more remote switches for it. Definitely worth the money. Thanks Guitar Sanctuary for the service and quick shipping.

As always, Brian and the crew at Sanctuary are absolutely top shelf. When I'm in need of something they have, they're always my first pick. Just wish I could visit, in person, more often.
