Presenting the Mesa Boogie 4x10 Lone Star Extension Cabinet.

The Mesa 4x10 Lone Star® Cabinet offers the ultimate in authentic roots and traditional tone and styling. The renowned Jensen P10R Vintage Alnico re-issue speakers unite with a tuned, semi-closed rear panel that captures the best attributes of both closed and open back designs. The size and weight footprint of the 4x10 remains portable while the undeniable vintage tone , bounce and feel of rear-loaded 10” Alnico speakers is instantly recognizable and addictive for those seeking legitimate traditional tones.

You simply won’t find a better built cabinet. All Mesa Boogie Enclosures are made using the finest Void-free, Marine Grade Baltic Birch. Super strong rabbet corners are glued and nailed and speaker baffles are fitted with superior dado joint construction and braced. Grilles are wrapped around a separate grille board, not the baffle board. Grille material is made of strong twisted jute dipped in a special coating that filters top end for a sweeter response.

5 of 5 Killer Sound, Manageable Weight, Great Transaction April 11, 2018
Reviewer: John from Charlotte, NC United States
It's a superb cab.  I've paired it with a Mark V, Dual Rec Tremoverb, and a Vintage Sound 15 (Princeton reverb).  They all sound amazing.  It's been fun trying different combinations.  It's like getting a new version of each amp.
Plus, there is just something magical about 4x10s.  It's just a glorious sound with a strat.  Ironically I don't have a lonestar classic to pair it with but I can't imagine it producing a bad sound.

It's got some weight to it but much easier to manage than a super reverb.  I'd rather deal with a separate head and cab all day long vs a huge, heavy combo.

The transaction with Guitar Sanctuary was seamless.  They were very helpful in the chat.  The cab arrived in the factory packaging.  Thank you!
