This Custom Shop Martin Dreadnought with Scalloped Bracing is part of a special batch of guitars that we commissioned to pay homage to vintage 28 style instruments with Adirondack Spruce Tops and Indian Rosewood back and sides, but with the modern features of a present day Standard Series model.

This guitar was inspired by the current Standard Series HD-28 that was redesigned in 2017, which featured a medling of sorts between what had been the Vintage series (models that had a "V" designation in the model number) and the previous Standard Series.

This Dreadnought features their Classic herringbone trim and Ebony fretboard in the shape that started it all: the Dreadnought. Paired with their most comfortable modern neck, vintage appointments, scalloped, forward-shifted bracing, and a lifetime warranty. Powerful bottom end, rich tone, and strums that will fill the room—music history made new.

Amazing guitar !   It may be an HD 28 Tribute but it far exceeds what I remember about the HD28 I owned.  Completely exceeds my expectations and best guitar I have ever owned OR PLAYED !!!  Completely blown away !   Guitar Sanctuary REALLY knew what they were doing when they put the specs together for this guitar !  I’ve never been happier with any other purchase of anything in my entire life.   THANK YOU GUITAR SANCTUARY !!  You are my go to place for life !!!
