Layla comes from a family of musical influence. At an early age, she began singing on stage with her mother Maylee Thomas Fuller and her learning guitar from her father George Fuller. Layla’s parents are also the owners of The Guitar Sanctuary where she has been involved with us from the beginning working in the store, as a student, and substitute teaching. Layla joined our teaching staff in 2016. She is a graduate of Boyd High School in McKinney where she was involved an the AP Art program and Competitive Choir.

Layla works well with students ages 10 to 14. Her teaching environment is encouraging and fun. Her specialties are Voice, Guitar, and Ukulele.

Layla’s live performance resume includes multiple theater productions with the McKinney & Genesis Youth Theatres where her roles included, “Charlie” in Willy Wonka, “Oz” in Wizard of Oz, and “Mrs. Mayor” in Seussical. She also currently performs with her group “Hollow” in the McKinney music scene.

Layla is available for lessons on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
