We were delighted when Korey agreed to join our teaching staff as a guitar instructor in 2013. Recruiting a teacher with Korey’s academic credentials added great value to our Performance Academy. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from McNally Smith College with a Bachelor’s in Guitar Performance, attended their Master’s Degree in Music Performance program, as well studied at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. Korey works well with students ages 12 and up. His strength as an instructor is introducing the basic construction blocks of music theory and encouraging students to continually build upon their skills. Korey specializes in a wide range of styles that include, rock, blues, jazz, country, R & B, and Pop. His ability to improve a student’s improvisational skills through an elevated understanding of music theory makes him an excellent fit for students looking for assistance with High School & College band auditions as well as professional musicians seeking to improve live performance. . As a live stage performer Korey has shared the stage with numerous national recording artist in some of the most famous venues in North America. He is the Dallas Campus Director for Visible Music College where he serves as the Global Division and Global Music Theory Head.
Korey offers lessons Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Saturdays.
