Stripped-down, yet surprisingly versatile. The single SPLIT/KING pickup at the bridge delivers three totally different tonal options. Raw tone has never been better.

Simplicity and elegance have found a new home. The new Senior from Duesenberg focuses on everything you need for a raw and punchy rock tone but it also has some tricks up its sleeve. Duesenberg's newly developed Split/King pickup allows you to extend the tonal range of this single pickup guitar to reach completely new levels of versatility. The single Split/King pickup at the bridge offers three sound options: true Singlecoil, true Humbucker and a combination of both. The Split/King is not the splittable humbucker you might expect from traditional designs: It actually houses a real singlecoil which can be extended to a full humbucker with a second, specially designed coil to actually deliver the best of both worlds. As a third option, the pickup can be set into an in between mode where both coils are mixed in a special way to give you even more flexibility. The mode can be selected with the 3-position rotary pickup switch at the cutaway while the elegant "Phonico" pickup cover continues Duesenberg's vision of truly independent hardware design.

Large sound chambers in the Senior's body deliver a lighter and more resonant guitar compared to a regular solidbody construction.

The specially designed Duesenberg Plek process guarantees a perfectly playable instrument in all situations. Every single Duesenberg instrument is expertly pleked for buzz-free playability all throughout the fretboard. It is then carefully finished by hand and precisely set up by one of their professional luthiers. The luthier responsible also leaves his or her signature inside the instrument. This all is their promise to you that a Duesenberg instrument will always feel great in your hands.

The Senior comes in 2 classic finishes, either all-over Blonde or all-over high-gloss Black.
